Favor please?

We are going to be offline until the end of February.  While we are gone, will you do us a favor?  If you enjoy getting scriptures and messages of encouragement from either Sayani or Jorie, will you take time to stop by our site and let us know?  When I return, I will be cutting down the time that I spend on this site because of our schedule and one of the ways that I can do that is to only send messages to people who really want them.  If that is you, see you when we get back.  Please pray for us if God brings us to mind.

God bless you REALLY BIG!

The Golden Compass

There will be a new children's movie out in December called "The Golden
Compass". The movie has been described as "atheism for kids" and is based on
the first book of a trilogy entitled "His Dark Materials" that was written
by Phillip Pullman. Pullman is a militant atheist and secular humanist who
despises C. S. Lewis and
the "Chronicles of Narnia". His motivation for writing this trilogy was
specifically to counteract Lewis' symbolisms of Christ that are portrayed in
the Narnia series.

Clearly, Pullman's main objective is to bash Christianity and promote
atheism. Pullman left little doubt about his intentions when he said in a
2003 interview that "my books are about killing God." He has even stated
that he wants to "kill God in the minds of children". It has been said of
Pullman that he is "the writer the atheists would be praying for, if
atheists prayed."

While "The Golden Compass" movie itself may seem mild and innocent, the
books are a much different story. In the trilogy, a young streetwise girl
becomes enmeshed in an epic struggle to ultimately defeat the oppressive
forces of a senile God. Another character, an ex-nun, describes Christianity
as "a very powerful and convincing mistake." In the final book, characters
representing Adam and Eve eventually kill God, who at times is called
YAHWEH. Each book in the trilogy gets progressively worse regarding
Pullman's hatred of Jesus Christ.

"The Golden Compass" is set to premier on December 7, during the Christmas
season, and will probably be heavily advertised. Promoters hope that
unsuspecting parents will take their children to see the movie, that they
will enjoy the movie, and that the children will want the books for
Christmas.

Please consider a boycott of the movie and the books. Also, pass this
information along to everyone you know. This will help to educate parents,
so that they will know the agenda of the movie.

No matter where you are, or what you are doing right now.....He knows you by name, looks upon your heart and is there with you, loving you because you are His kid.  He wants to give you joy, hope and help when you need it. Your part is to acknowledge His presence, ask and receive.  Oh, and don't forget to thank Him.   I pray Psalm 91 over you, today, and everyday until He comes.

Much love to you~

"Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts...boast about this:  that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight," declares the Lord.  Jeremiah 9:23

You know the saying......we reap what we sow?  If our lives are full of weeds, thorns, crab grass, poison Ivy and Oak ( which could also be thought of as strife, anger, depression, guilt, shame, etc) what does that say about what we are planting?
What are we growing in our spiritual gardens?  What will we harvest?  The Bible tells us that if  we sow seeds with the wisdom that comes from heaven" and feed and water them with peace, love, kindness, humility, mercy and good fruit........in all sincerity ..... we will reap a garden that is lush, alive, full of spiritual nutrients........a spiritual Garden of Eden that is more than enough for you, your family and friends.....in fact enough to spread over the earth and feed the world.

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace loving; considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.  Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.   James 3:17-18

Good Morning~

I hope that you had a great weekend and were fully aware of God's love and favor.  Please take time to read 2 Corinthians 4 sometime today.  It begins "Therefore, since we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.  Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways: we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God".

Each of us are ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  How effective we are depends on how closely we adhere to the word as we go about our daily lives. I encourage you to spend more time "reading the map" so that you do not waste time trying to find your way on roads that you were never meant to travel........or losing your way, all together.  God love you,....and so do we.

What a beautiful day!  The weather does not matter to us, as believers, for this is the day that the Lord has made and we CAN rejoice and be glad in it.....the choice is ours. Another opportunity to serve, bless and be blessed as we meet the challenges of THIS day head on.......armed with the Word of God to build our faith, teach us to love, give us joy and fill us with the peace that passes all understanding.  Galatians 6:9 says~ Let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we wil reap a great harvest of blessing IF we don't get discouraged and give up."  I love that translation from THE BOOK.  May God give you favor, today, as you continue to go about HIS business. Tsisa Gesvi Unelanvhi!  Jesus Is Lord!
