Veronica Lopez
Latin recording artist, Veronica Lopez, is affectionately called “Chaparita” for her diminutive stature, charismatic personality and colossal voice. Since the age of 7, when Veronica began singing Mariachi style music at her family’s restaurant in the San Fernando Valley, CA she has performed around the world at cultural events, fairs, festivals, rallies, corporate functions and private parties.

In 2007, Veronica added an Inspirational Tour to her repertoire of singing, songwriting, and acting. Her appearances, which typically consist of Veronica singing her original songs, accompanied by live music and a multi-media presentation, have become popular with Christian churches during their weekend services, and with their women’s groups of adults and teenagers. During her engagements with civic organizations, in addition to her musical presentation, Veronica uses humor, music, heartfelt stories, images captured on video, and her own personal experiences to explore family, women’s roles, and a variety of other issues that cross the boundaries of gender. Veronica’s slogan for this Tour is “changing the world, one song at a time.”

To coincide with this Tour, Veronica has combined her musical talent with inspirational and spiritual thoughts to create songs for a new CD, set for release later this year. “Reflections,” in the adult contemporary genre, is set to be a compilation of original songs designed to both awaken consciousness and heal hearts. “Take Me Away,” featured on the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund CD is receiving airplay nationwide and on the worldwide web. “Just Imagine,“ with its own music video, is meant to raise awareness about the plights of homeless. Her newest release, “Toxic Fashion” explores teen social issues in relation to the media, specifically those related to the self-image of teenage girls.

In terms of singing, Veronica’s extensive range, style, and passion for her craft have been compared to that of popular vocalist Edie Gorme and the late Tejano singing sensation, Selena. In 2003 and 2004, Veronica released two CDs of Spanish music, mostly original songs, toured, and appeared on TV Azteca, TeveAmerica, Univision, Telemundo and other television stations in the United States and Mexico. Her music continues to get airplay on well over 100 radio stations in the United States and Mexico, Italy, Canada, Australia and Asia.

Veronica is highly regarded for performing “The National Anthem” for cultural, community and sporting events nationwide. Also, often requested is her original ballad, “Gloria de America” (translated “America’s Glory”) which she performs in Spanish and English.

Veronica’s ability to touch the hearts of both English and Spanish speaking fans has drawn attention to her talent as a crossover singer/songwriter in both markets.

Good morning~ Remember that God is BIGGER than anything you may be facing today.

.........for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
II Timothy 1:12

Blessings and love~ Jorie

Hi~  We are going to be offline until the end of February.  While we are gone, will you do us a favor?  If you enjoy getting scriptures and messages from either Sayani or Jorie, will you take time to stop by our site and let us know?  When I return, I will be cutting down the time that I spend on this site because of our schedule and one of the ways that I can do that is to only send messages to people who really want them.  If that is you, see you when we get back.  Please pray for us if God brings us to mind.

God bless you REALLY BIG!

Jorie

No matter where you are, or what you are doing right now.....He knows you by name, looks upon your heart and is there with you, loving you because you are His kid. He wants to give you joy, hope and help when you need it. Your part is to acknowledge His presence, ask and receive. Oh, and don't forget to thank Him. I pray Psalm 91 over you, today, and everyday until He comes.

Much love to you~

Jorie

"Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts...boast about this:  that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight," declares the Lord.  Jeremiah 9:23

You know the saying......we reap what we sow?  If our lives are full of weeds, thorns, crab grass, poison Ivy and Oak ( which could also be thought of as strife, anger, depression, guilt, shame, etc) what does that say about what we are planting?
What are we growing in our spiritual gardens?  What will we harvest?  The Bible tells us that if  we sow seeds with the wisdom that comes from heaven" and feed and water them with peace, love, kindness, humility, mercy and good fruit........in all sincerity ..... we will reap a garden that is lush, alive, full of spiritual nutrients........a spiritual Garden of Eden that is more than enough for you, your family and friends.....in fact enough to spread over the earth and feed the world.

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace loving; considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.  Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.   James 3:17-18
