My taste in music ranges greatly. I like anything from classical to bluegrass. I mainly listen to contemporary Christian, but prefer a harder edge to music, i.e. Pillar, Day of Fire, etc...

BOOKS

Just the Bible. I generally use the computer to read and study the Word. Psalm 46 is my favorite passage of scripture. The Lord brought me to this Psalm at a time in my life that He needed to get my attention. You can read it below.
1 God is our refuge and strength,

an ever-present help in trouble.

2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way

and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,

3 though its waters roar and foam

and the mountains quake with their surging.

4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,

the holy place where the Most High dwells.

5 God is within her, she will not fall;

God will help her at break of day.

6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall;

he lifts his voice, the earth melts.

7 The LORD Almighty is with us;

the God of Jacob is our fortress.

8 Come and see the works of the LORD,

the desolations he has brought on the earth.

9 He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth;

he breaks the bow and shatters the spear,

MOVIES

I like historically correct movies and action movies. Occasionally a comedy if it's morally decent to watch.I liked the movie "The Passion" though it was very difficult to watch!

I am born again in Christ. I tried all the world had to offer and found out there was no joy, peace or contentment there at all. Christ gave me all and security in knowing where I'll spend eternity. I serve as a deacon in my A/G church.
I am 6' tall and my weight ranges from 205-225 depending on how well I discipline my diet. I work out as I'm able after having some serious back trouble. Had 1 surgery and it didn't give me the results I had hoped for. I'm married to my best friend Dets. We've been married for 25 years. She's given me 2 awesome son's. The oldest is a Bible school grad with a major in pastoral studies.He is now a assc. pastor in a local A/G church. My youngest is a foreman in a wood flooring company.He is a royal ranger leader and bass player in a Christian band. Before my back broke down I was an arborist (Tree Surgeon) for almost 24 years. After surgery I went to school and now work in a office for a truck body manufacturer.
I like working out and weight training.

This picture is my representation of Christ. He literally picked me up and carried me away from the dark sinful side of life.

07/20/2008 22:23:24 Hi Mr Pete.. I am well thanks . Busy , buts summer. Had a tradtional Lakota family gathering for 10 days. It was good and I did get to share Jesus with one of my elders. Other than that I amjust working, going to pow wows and rodeos. and camping in the back country when I can. Hope your summer is going well too
